I think I’ve passed over this one more than once, because the cover is not the best (or at all representative of the book!).
This is an emotional story of a slave leaving her Master when he won’t commit. He’s still hung up on his dead wife. What the guy doesn’t know is that his slave has been diagnosed with cancer.
He’s bitter when they meet again nearly a year later, attacking her fake breasts, her weight, her hairstyle. He has no idea she was sick.
I really like reading books where the hero acts like a moron and then has to crawl back and grovel, so of course I liked this one!
Shattered by the loss of his wife, Callum Reed is a man surrounded by rules designed to protect him. He has found the perfect submissive in Gaby Sullivan, until she breaks his cardinal rule.
After three years of perfect obedience, Gaby declares she wants love. Love isn’t in their contract, so Cal lets her go. But Gaby has a secret reason for leaving. When Cal discovers the truth, nothing will stop him from following her. On a secluded island paradise, Callum will do anything to prove he’s the perfect Master for his defiant, loving sub.
