Laylah Roberts’ Two Old-Fashioned Men is the second in a series about a family of cowboys who practice Domestic Discipline, and this one involves a ménage relationship. I didn’t need to read the first book to enjoy this one.

This was exactly what I was hoping for when I bought the book: dominant men, some spanking. Woman being rescued from a storm by a couple of guys who don’t want to let her go – Cinderella x 2 is fun sometimes! You get the picture. I enjoyed it.

That said, I would like to make a complaint about the editing. There were incorrectly-placed apostrophes. There were wrong words (expect instead of except). Too was to every single time. These smaller publishers don’t seem to put a lot (any?) of effort into editing. It’s a pity, because this was a nice story otherwise.

It should be noted that the publisher has also added the blurb for the wrong book in the listing on Goodreads!

Bryony Andrews has never had much luck with men… or jobs. She’s down to her last few dollars when she drives out to the Double J ranch in a thunderstorm to ask about a housekeeping job.

Cam is ecstatic. He thinks Bryony could be just what he and Kent have needed ever since Kent swore off women after having his heart broken by a cheating ex. Cam hopes Bryony might be just the right woman to make Kent smile again. He and his brother enjoy sharing their women, and Cam sees Bryony as one they could keep… forever.

Bryony is ecstatic to have a job, but can she handle her incredibly sexy, handsome employers and their very old-fashioned views on how to treat a woman? Can she make it through the hard shell Kent has placed around his heart?

Publisher’s Note: This book involves spanking, domestic discipline, the consensual babying of an adult, anal play, and more. Very spicy! If such material offends you, please don’t buy this book.
